Delete your Ahlano account

In short

• You can delete your account yourself at any time, in the Ahlano app or on ahlano.com. It takes effect at once.
• We erase your personal details, your sign-ins, your identity documents and your support conversations.
• We keep order and payment records, without your name or address, for as long as UAE tax law requires.

In the Ahlano app

1. Open the Ahlano app and sign in.
2. Tap the Account tab, then Profile.
3. Scroll to the end and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm with Delete my account.

You are signed out on every device straight away.

On the website

1. Sign in at ahlano.com.
2. Open your profile.
3. At the end of the page, under Delete account, choose Delete my account, then confirm.

If you can't sign in

Contact us from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We check that the account is yours and aim to reply within 30 days.

What we erase

• Your name, email address, phone number and address.
• Your profile photo and the identity documents you uploaded.
• Your password and the Google or Apple sign-ins linked to your account.
• Your devices, notification settings and sign-ins, so you are signed out everywhere.
• Your notifications, support tickets and their messages.
• Your email subscriptions and saved carts.

This happens as soon as you confirm and can't be undone. We also remove you from our advertising audiences on their next update, usually within a day.

What we keep, and for how long

• Records of your orders, payments, top-ups, gift cards and wallet, for our accounts, for as long as UAE tax and commercial law requires. Then we delete or anonymise them. After deletion they no longer carry your name, email address or address.
• Records of how the app was used are deleted after 180 days.

Your wallet balance and any cashback waiting to be added lapse when you delete your account: they can't be paid out or moved to another account. eSIMs already installed on your phone keep working until their plan ends.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

• Edit your phone number, address and photo on your profile.
• Withdraw consent to measurement and marketing at any time under Privacy choices, on your profile or at the bottom of any page.
• Stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them.
• To delete other data, such as your identity documents, support conversations or order history, contact us and tell us what to delete. We aim to reply within 30 days and delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
